He Made Me Feel Comfortable
I was having a burnt smell and electrical problems with my doorbell chime box. Brandon checked all my outlets and my breaker and determined the cause was the doorbell camera and the chime box, while also alerting me to other potential future hazards. He fixed both issues quickly even though I didn't have the specific tool for my doorbell camera. He was very polite and knowledgeable, and I appreciated that he wasn't pushy regarding upgrading certain hardware. He was very good around my dogs and my autistic son, and he made me feel comfortable in a situation where I normally feel awkward (stranger in my house lol). 9/12/25: Nick Newson was an amazing machine today: installed 3 new smoke alarms (one 22’ in the air), installed a bathroom can light, installed a surge protector for my electrical system, and moved my hot tub 10’ (to where it is finally in code) and rewired the whole thing under my deck. He seems to be a very good electrician as well as being a genuinely nice guy. Oscar drove all the way to Leaburg to help with the spa rewire and move a very heavy hot tub. They are a great team. The whole crew at Reynolds is pretty hard to beat.
6/15/25: When the electricians (SE), who built my house in Leaburg, told me in February that a GFI plug for my fish pond was a “low priority” and they wouldn’t get around to it until summer, I put it on hold and ran an extension cord. After reading a review of Reynolds Electric, I gave them a call this morning. It is just past noon, I have a quote from Reynolds on my kitchen counter, and they are starting to work on my project tomorrow! Nick Newson from Reynolds turned up, did an inspection, wrote up a plan, and got the ball rolling in an impressive, efficient manner. I was so dazzled by the Reynolds organization, I signed up for an impressive maintenance program they offer that covers electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance for $20 a month. They are locally owned and definitely have their act together. Living a ways out of town has presented problems getting service people to come the extra distance, and there are always extra charges and long waits. Reynolds seems to be banking on fast, great service creating a loyal following that will reward their stellar efforts. Consider this a rave review for Nick and Reynolds Electric.
9/11/25: Colton did electrical inspection today. His knowledge of electrical systems was just amazing, and he made several very constructive suggestions, such as adding a surge protector. He also helped solve some thorny hot tub and smoke alarm issues, all as part of my maintenance agreement with Reynolds. Reynolds provides HVAC, plumbing, and electrical expertise I lack and does it with high standards and reasonable prices. Very nice to have them on my side!
